If you have a holistic vet, you probably heard this before. The fact is most people feed their cat dry food because it's convenient while some believe it helps maintain dental health for their cat.
With what we've learned of the potential health hazards due to feeding your cat a dry food diet, we could not in good conscience continue to sell that type of product (regardless of how good the brand is).
And you might wonder why your vet is selling dry cat food like Science Diet, or some other special formula for various feline conditions... Don't they want what's best for your kitty? Whatever their incentives are, the fact remain that dry cat food just isn't good feline nutrition.
We are well aware that everybody else is selling dry cat food. And that you're free to shop elsewhere for it. But if this information somehow influences even a handful of cat owners to rethink their cat's diet, then it's all worth it to us.
We lost one of our senior cats to feline diabetes - Miss Purdy - not that long ago. And this means a lot to us. So please, take the time to become informed about this important subject. The dangers are very real.
